On Friday 27 th  March, the Year 1 children have been practicing for their forthcoming Easter assembly and learning about the significance of Easter and the various ways it is celebrated.

On Tuesday 24 th  March, the nursery children had an enjoyable bus trip to the local supermarket.

On Friday 20 th  March, the Year 2 children did a wonderful World Faith presentation for the parents discussing providing a deeper insight into how various cultures celebrate their important festivals which include fasting and special meals to mark the occasion. The children were excited to explore the wide range of books on the shelves and loved having the opportunity to discover new stories, characters, and topics that sparked their curiosity and reading for pleasure

On Wednesday 25 th  March an afternoon tea party is taking place for role models of the reception children. They have made some delicious cakes as a thank you.

Year 2 had a fantastic time visiting the local library on Monday, and it was an experience they thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish.  The children were excited to explore the wide range of books on the shelves and loved having the opportunity to discover new stories, characters, and topics that sparked their curiosity and reading for pleasure

The children have had a wonderful week celebrating Gaura Purnima and world book day with dressing up ending today with a delicious feast.
